One of the first signs of the asphalt failing is the appearance of cracks. Without repair the asphalt base is compromised, the cracks spread and potholes develop. To prevent a complete replacement cracks should be sealed as soon as they appear.

Crack filling is used as a first defense against deterioration because it prevents water & other substances from entering the asphalt.
